Hey Sol Warriors!! Happy New Year & Happy Black History Month!!


This year we are doing something different. We are doing weekly blog posts instead of daily that way I can have a better chance of connecting to you all.


This week we are discussing "Is it a Lifestyle or a Diet?"


As we are restarting the new year because we know that January was a trial run and February actually starts the new year, I wanted to talk to you about your goals and dreams. We often put our goals and dreams on diets, when they need to be a lifestyle change.


Now before we dig deep, do you know the difference between a lifestyle and a diet? A lifestyle is the way in which a person or group lives. A diet is a special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for medical reasons. Since we have the actual definitions of both, let me tell you how we are going to use them today.


When you hear the word diet, what comes to mind? Is it cutting back on certain things, working out to lose x amount of weight, or is it simply trying something new and putting yourself on a 90 trial run?


When you hear the word lifestyle what comes to mind? It's harder to think about right? Is it commitment, life long change, and starting over fresh?

I want you to be able to make lifestyle changes in your life. You have had the same goals and dreams since you could remember but you keep putting yourself on a diet and not working towards it. If you want it as bad as you say you want it then get up off your ass and go get it. Nobody is holding you back but yourself. This is for you! If you do not want then so be it but stop blaming others for you not doing what you need to do to get it done!


Start treating your goals and dreams like the lifestyle change they are! Nobody wants to kee hearing your complaints of how you could've should've would've when you CAN! Stop holding yourself back from greatness when you know what you are trying to do will help those around you!


I don't want you to be looking back years from now saying "damn I really could've been that millionare but everyone was doing what I wanted to do back then."

Hell look at all the grocery stores and hair stores! They all sale the same stuff but do you see them complaining that this one is doing xyz? No! Because they know what they give to their customers. Nobody is going to hold your hand when it comes down to it. So make that change because nobody can make it for you.
